Kaband-A demon cursed by rishi Durvasa.
Kadru- Gave birth to the race of serpants.
Kaiksi - Daughter of Sumali- married Pulastya- mother of   Ravana, Kumbhkarna,Vibhishan and Shooparnkha.
Kailash - Mountain- Abode of Lord Shiva- Ravana could lift it.

Kakbhushindi
  A crow who narrated the story of Rama to Garuda- King of birds-  Born in Ayodhya in his first birth in Kaliyug-lived there  for many years till a famine occurred -when stricken by  adversity he had to move to another place- Ujjain.
Once he showed disrespect to his guru he was cursed to be a snake, after that he went to Vindhiya Mountains  and reborn as a snake,  after then he was reborn Brahman and went to the forest, on a peak of  Mountain  Meru- in the shade of a banyan tree sat the sage Lomas-
Lomas cursed him to be a crow for not listening him Properly- Shiva blessed him to have unobstructed access  every  where.
Does not perish even during   Mahapralaya ( the great Dissolution ) when Brahma himself retires into the  Lord’s body after completing the 100 years of  his Existence- lived on the Neel Mountain in the North  of Sumeru Mountain – meditates  under the Peepal Tree.    
                       
 Kakaiy- Capital of King Satyaketu.
Kakayee- Third queen of King Dashrath-mother of Bharat- who  demanded two boons-For one boon  throne for her son and  for second fourteen years of exile to Rama.

Kalketu -  A demon as boar and cheated King Pratapbhanu. He had hundred sons and ten brothers.
Kalnemi - A demon who assumed appearance of ascetic and  tried  to deceive Hanuman while he was  going to bring the  Sanjivini herbs for the unconscious Laxman and was Killed by Hanuman.

Kalpa- Span of life of the universe which  has been calculated to  cover 4,32,000 years.  
Kalpvriksh - A tree which gives whatever one wishes- came out of churning of the ocean.
Kamdev- God of Love- keeps five arrows  of flowers and flag-   With the sign of fish- other name Anang.
Kamdhenu- A cow Who fulfills all wishes.-came out of  churning of  the ocean.
Kamlapati- Lord of Lakshmi-Vishnu.
Kapipati - Sugriva-the chief of monkeys.
Kapiraj -  King of monkeys-Sugriva.
Kapishwar - Head of monkeys-Hanuman.
Karma- The residue of actions.
Kartikey - Son of Shiva and Parvati- had six Faces- twelve eyes-  brother of Ganesha- chariot peacock- Killed Tarkasur.
Karunanidhi- Rama.
Kashyap - Prajapati- known as Swamikartikey- Husband of Aditi - Reborn as Dashrath - the father of Rama- had two wives Diti and Aditi- Aditi gave birth  to demons and Diti gave birth to Demi-gods.
Kasi - The modern Varanasi- the abode of Sambhu and Bhavani.
Kaushlaya- A queen of King Dashrath and daughter of Koshal - mother of Rama.
Kaustubi - Jewel ( Vishnu )came out of churning the ocean.
Kevat - A Boatman who made Rama to cross the River Ganges.
Khar- Brother of  Dushasan and Trishira- cousin of Ravana-   killed by Rama.
Kinnar- Singers.
Kishikindhakand -The fourth chapter of Ramayana.
Kshirsagar-  The  abode of Shrihari-Vishnu-ocean of milk churned with the joints efforts of  demi-gods and demons.
King Janak - King of Janakpuri - father of Sita.
Kirat- Hilly tribe
Kol - Hilly tribe.
Koshladhis-  King of Kaushal Dashrath.
Kosalpati-  A King of Kaushal Capital.
Kripaniketa –Rama.
Kratu- Son of Brahma.

Kuber  - Son of Vishrva- God of riches- owner of  Pushapak . Built Alkapuri as his abode- Brother of  Ravana- Ravana defeated Kubera and carried away  his  aerial car Pushpaka -the chief of Yaksas.                    
Kumbh- Son of Kumbhkaran- brother of  Nikumbh- killed  by Sugriva.

Kumbhkaran- Grandson of  Pulastysa - son of Kaiksi  and  Vishrva-  younger brother of Ravana and Vibhishan-  Cursed by Prajapati to sleep for six months-married  the grand daughter of Bali - had two sons, Kumbh and Nikumbh- killed by Rama. 
             
Kumbhinasi -Younger sister of Ravana.
Kusadhvaja - Younger brother of  king Janak.
Kusaketu - Brother of king Janak .
Kush - A son of Rama and  Sita-brother of  Luv.

Lanka - A Kingdom of Ravana-situated at the mountain  Trikute in the middle of the ocean- built by  Vishwakarma- had four gates-Ten Yojan broad and Twenty yojan Long- Hanuman’s tail was swathed with rags  soaked in oil and then set fire on it- Hanuman ran and sprang  palace to palace and the city was all ablaze except  Vibhishan’s palace.
Lankakand -The sixth chapter of Ramayana-related to Ravana  known as Yudhkand also.
Laxmi-The goddess of fortune, prosperity-Wife of Lord Vishnu- came out of  churning of the ocean.
Lakshmipate- Husband of Laxmi.

Laxmana-  The son of King Dashrath and Sumitra , known  Sumitranandan- brother of  Shatrughan  and step-brother of Rama and Bharat - married  Urmilla - accompanied Rama and Sita in the forest   for fourteen years- Killed Meghnad and other demons.
Lok-  Fourteen see Spheres
Luv -  A Son of Rama and Sita- brother of Kush.

Mahabali – Hanuman-----Mahavir – Hanuman---------Mahesh- Shiva
Mahiravna -and -Ahiravna- i.e Ravna’s Mother’s Sister’s  son’s.
Mahishasur-  A demon killed by Durga, Kali.
Mahodar-Son of Ravana killed by Neel.

Maina - Wife of Himvan- mother of Parvati ( Uma ).

Mainak-  A mountain with wings. In Satyug mountains have  wings- Indra cut the wings of all the mountains except  Mainak.              
Mali--  Son of Sukeshi-Brother of Sumali and Malyavan.
Malyavant-  Son of Sukeshi- Brother of Mali, Sumali- Maternal    grandfather of Ravana - his minister.
Mandakini- Ganga-flows at the foot of Chitrakoot.
Mandodari-  Daughter of  Maya Danav-wife of king Ravana.
Mandrachal- Mountain used for churning of the ocean.
Mandvi- Wife of Bharat.
Mansrover- A river.  
Manthan - Churning of the ocean.                                                             
Manthra-  The humpack companion of queen Kakaiyee who  rebuked  to ask for the two boons.
Mantra- A sound vibration that can deliver the mind from  Illusion-Twelve lettered formula: Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevay.

Manu-  A demigod son of Brahma who is the forefather and  Lawgiver of the human race- Creator of the world-wife  Shatrupa- sons were Utanpad and Priyavrat.                              
Marich- Brother of Tadka- Maternal uncle of King Ravana- disturbed yagnas and Rama struck him with a headless  shaft and he fell at a distance of eight hundred miles  beyond the sea shore - who changed himself as a golden  deer  to allure Sita and was killed by Rama .
 Marichi - Son of Brahma.
