Wind Deities: Auras(Vratsa)/ Ashbins/ Agni/ Abdicate/ Devas/ Indri/ Mitre/ (Varna)/ Mariachi/ Radars/ Rebus/ Sashays/ Soma/ Visedevas.}
Wine - Was churned out of the Ocean of Milk by the joint efforts of the gods and the demons
Worship - There are sixteen equipage of worship:-
1. Asana ; 2. Padya-water for washing the feet ; 3. Arghya-water for washing the hands with ;
4. Snaniya-water for performing ablutions ; 5. Vastra-raiment ; 6. Abhushan-Ornaments ;
7. Gandha-Sandal paste ; 8. Pushpa-flowers ; 9. Dhoop-burning of incense ;
10. Dipa-Light ; 11. Naivedya-food ; 12. Achmanya-water for rinsing the mouth ;
13. Tambola-betel leaves with other ingrediements for cleaning and scenting the mouth ;
14. Stava-Path-Singing Praises ; 15. Tarpana-water for slaking thirst ; 16. Namaskara-Salution .

Yagvalkya - A sage- who told the story of Ramayana to sage Bhardwaj.
Yamas- Self-restraint as they are called in Yoga Philosophy are :-
1. Ahinsa ( Non-violence in thought, word and Deed ) ; 2. Satya ( Truthfulness ) ;
3. Brahmcharya ( Abstinence from sexual indulgence in every form ;
4. Aparigarh (Depriving oneself of all possessions ; 5. Asteya ( Non-stealing ) .
Yamraj - God of death riding on Buffalo- son of Sun.
Yamuna - A river near Delhi-Daughter of sun-Suryatanya.
Yayati - Was cursed by Sukracharya & became old & infirm before time -A king who was given age by his son Puru.
Yodha- A Warrior.
Yoga –
1. Anima-the faculty of reducing one’s body to the size of an atom ;
2. Mahima- the power of expanding one’s body to infinitely large size ;
3. Garima-the power of becoming infinitely heavy ;
4. Laghima-the power of becoming infinitely light in body
5. Prapti-unrestricted access to all places. ; 6. Prakamya-realizing whatever one deserves ;
7. Isitva-absolute Lordship ; 8. Vastiva-subjugating all .
Yogini- A class of female attendants of Lord Shiva or Goddess Durga who are generally believed to be Sixty-four in number .
Yojan- Eight square miles.
Yug - An age -there are four Yugas-differ in duration:
Satyug consists of 17, 28,000 years……… Tretayug-consists of 12, 96,000 years
Dvaparyug-consists of 8, 64,000 years……. Kaliyug- - the present age -consists of 4,32, 000 years
As the ages proceed from Sat to Kali, religion and the good qualities of man gradually decline .
